Since I popped a sprog a couple of months ago I offically qualify for Mother's Day this year and since our child is not yet six months old this year Mother's Day falls under your remit. To make things easy for you I have made a little list of things I love:
Wonderous magical flower flavoured chocolates
- the English Fancies selection contains flavours such as violet, rose and geranium creams - but a day at their chocolate school would be greatfully recieved too - you know how you love it when I bake lots - imagine that but with chocolate!
A lovely cup of tea
- when I was little my mom would always say that this was all she wanted for Mother's Day - the Earl Grey with Lavender and Lemon Cream are delish!
Baking accessories from Nigella
- this cake stand is gorgella and would be espesh thoughtful coupled with a copy of "How to be a Domestic Goddess" (because frantically scribbling the recipes from a copy in Waterstones is just not the done thing)
Of course, in a couple of years Vv will come home from school with a dried pasta and glitter glue card - I will be delighted because I love everything that boy does, and you, husby, will be let off the hook, but until then... remember that it is Father's Day in June and it will be your turn!
